Super Jet Stator screws stuck

How the heck do you remove stator screws that are stuck? I tried and tried with a large screwdriver and all my weight and might. The flywheel area is really clean but I'm exhausted and it still won't budge.

I have a really powerful air impact wrench that I turned down to the lowest setting and snapped the screwdriver bit.

I have an impact screwdriver - you hit it with a hammer and it breaks the screw loose and twists. That almost always works for me.

I'll see if I can pick up an impact screwdriver. Never heard of those but they sound pretty cool.

Bought my impact screwdriver for ten bucks at yamaha dealer, best tool to have for little money...it will remove them easy.

I have a mac impact driver. Make sure you test it before trying it, they can go in reverse.

Impact driver.. I had to use mine a few times on the plate that holds the plastic check valve inside the carbs

Then replace them with allen head screws!

What they said, impact driver is a life saver for old/stuck phillips head screws.

Impact driver pulls em off every time. Make sure to use a #3 phillips bit though.

heat always helps, and an impact driver. the worst that will happen is you will break the bolt and have to drill it out..... I will use as much heat as it takes because I HATE drilling
