Just testing my stator

It tested out at: 345 ohms on the charge coil (brown-white to ground)
and 14 ohms on the pulse coil.

I have read that it should be 400 and 17. It produced spark before engine was removed. Is it ok to put in the new engine? it is a 61x/6m6 stator.

right, the ohm test is a decent indicator, but the windings can still have issues once they get HOT, or moist.

It is probably good though, Id install it, and try it.

T and X stators have differing values for the charging coil.
What you listed is T stator.
X stator is around 360 Ohms.

Hi there, I am helping a friend with his X2 and just lost spark like a light switch. How can I tell if the stator took a dump while motor and flywheel cover are ski in the ski? I have
2 brown wires and
1 Black/yellow
1 blue wire coming from the flywheel cover.
Need some help please.
