Super Jet Starts, runs fine for 20 minutes, no restart no spark.

Got a weird problem I'm trying to chase down. 61x with a pro Tec modded CDI, just started this issue last week. Starts up great, runs great, if you shut it off after 20 or so minutes it will not restart. If you let it sit for 4-5 hours it will restart. Battery voltage is good, fuel delivery is fine. Spark is non existent when it's hot and shut off. Any ideas?

Cdi or stators bad.

I had a similar issue with my wifes ski a few years back. I thought the RIVA CDI was bad and swapped in an MSD. It ran great for the next couple rides and then started doing the same thing again. I sent the stator off to JSS and it's been running great ever since.

I put my old stock CDI in and it fired right up. Then I put the protec one back in and no fire. I put the stock back in and it fired. Put the protec back in, no fire. Put the stock in, buttoned it all up and it fired right up. I hope that it was the issue. But now my coffmans pipe will be limited on revs. Guess its MSD time. Thanks for the input guys.
