650/X-2 Start button does nothing, likely culprit?

Location

my new x2 does not start, does not click, does nothing when the start button is pushed. Jumping the solenoid terminals cranks it over just fine. When I got it there was about 3" of water in the engine bay, and it had been sitting behind a barn for at-least 4 years in the elements, PO said they started it a few months ago. What is the likely culprit for a seemingly dead starting circuit? possibles are: start buttons?, ebox?, solenoid?, wiring? Pretty simple circuit, wires between the ebox and solenoid looked fine haven't inspected any further.

I had the same issue with my X2, ended up being a faulty Solenoid. Also try pulling the start button apart, I cleaned the contacts on mine just to be sure.

I just had this same problem too. It ended being that the wires going from the harness to the switch were corroded all the way down. I just spliced new wires in and it works great
