Quick question.. Running and MSD enhancer and was told to change the position of the stator do better timing.

Which way and how much?

I have read 1.5 - 2 There is some threads on here with screen shots etc. I think they where posted by Zero?

1mm of rotation = 1 degree of timing change

While Facing the stator, rotate counter clockwise to advance timing

1 to 3 degrees, a lot do 3.... @Quinc suggestion is somewhat safer

Either way it's a lot of timing up top, almost 23 degrees at rev limit
So no wide open throttle runs

I thought the enhancer pulls timing on the top end?

The enhancer pulls back to aorund 20 deg at 8k, adding 3 deg static it will follow the retarded timing.

Someday I will try a tad more on the stator side....I just hate messing a perfect set up! But I am curious to see if another 1 or 2 makes a diff....
