1mm of rotation = 1 degree of timing change

While Facing the stator, rotate counter clockwise to advance timing

1 to 3 degrees, a lot do 3.... @Quinc suggestion is somewhat safer

Either way it's a lot of timing up top, almost 23 degrees at rev limit
So no wide open throttle runs

Someday I will try a tad more on the stator side....I just hate messing a perfect set up! But I am curious to see if another 1 or 2 makes a diff....
