Other Stand Up rental in Florida

Where are some good places to rent stand ups in Florida? I'm taking a trip this weekend but can't tow mine the 30 hours. I'll be around Tampa but I'll travel around wherever I need to just to get to ride in the salt :Banane01:

The standup rental process in Florida is similar to that in most states. Look under stand-up jetski rentals in the Yellow pages for that local community. Can’t be done online have to use the actual book. Then if you find one listed just given a call. Pretty straight forward. The trick is getting a copy of the actual Yellow pages. Phone booths typically have them. I think the kind of phone booths with folding glass doors are the best bets. Remember tenacity is the key!

Hit up Jetrace19 on the forum. He has a Jetski rental place by Clearwater Beach. He might be able to point you to one. I will be in Clearwater Beach next week.....I may have to get ahold of him!

Good luck finding a rental company with standups, probably doesnt exist in florida, have never seen one in many years.

I don't think you're going to be able to rent a stand up any where around Tampa. You can check St. Pete Stand Up Crew on Facebook... Still doubt you will be able to rent anything.

That's what I was worried about, I haven't ever seen any stand ups as rentals, I was hoping it'd be different by the ocean, guess I'll check it out more when I get down there. Thanks guys!

When I was a kid we went on a vacation in Dandridge Tenn. and at the boat rental marina they rented a ,then, late model 3 seater and a rn super jet... That is what got me in to the sport. That was the first stand up I had ever seen or noticed a least. I have yet to see another for rent anywhere else though

There it's a place in St. Pete that has a square sitting behind the rental hut. Right off of a short bridge next to a hotel. I asked if it was rentable, and it was, but had a dead battery. It was a few years back, 2010. Full Pro-tec setup.

Mainly looking for something cheap. Im a broke college kid moving from california but I have to ride somehow and figured if its a business and its been sitting there awhike they may get rid of it cheap. Ive been looking all over florida everyday and guys are asking 800 for non running 550s idts

I think skis might get more money in Fla, always seemed like skis were pretty common here, and there's never really an off season here.
