St. Augustine... Sunday-Slutty-Sunday 1/29/06

I wish I had been back in Fl. in time for the ride.Ill be back in jacksonville the 6th ready to ride. I was back home in VA trying to roll Beachjunkies SJ without a shortened pole,it just wasnt happening.I feel very uncomfortable riding both feet in the back wells, I ride right foot forward and feel I will need a strap up there to make the roll on my boat, the pole is a xmetal and is plenty short.anyone else roll or backy with one foot in the well, other foot forward in a strap?

I am going to quit saying I will try, so if you actually see me try it will be extra special.

I wish I had my camera to get a pic of Nick doing some hood riding. :firedevil:

Rockin' weekend everyone....

the screen door is back in place and is 100% functional (or, at least as functional as it was before this weekend :Banane01: )

andy pulled one stab that looked to me like it was about 350 degrees rotation.......bout the closest thing to a BR that I have seen him do..

i NEED a front strap, I just couldnt keep my rear foot glued to the tray and am paying the price for it today....have a bruise from my knee to my hip from the bars..

noone even mentioned the popo showing up???????? Yesterday I went out to tinker in the garage and felt like all the neighbors were staring out the windows at me..... its not like the music was THAT loud :1244: , or maybve it was the constant :woot: :woot: from all the gambling going on???

these are about the only publishable pics I have....

Sorry about that door. :pat:
Thge music was so loud it must have been affecting my vision....
Guys- don't forget my BR attempts. I know they may have been hard to spot because they resembled some type of ballet move.
IDOK- thanks for the hospitality, your welcome at my place anytime. Feel free to break something.:headbang:

Butti- I just read about the fries. God were they terrible. Did you see how our wives were trying to pass it off like they got them for us. What really happened was they knew they sucked, didn't eat them, then brought them to us for a snack three hours later. WTF! :bs2:
At least they look good!:woot: :woot:

Yeah Nick- make sure Steve sees that pic.
Forgot about the Cops, also...

Robert, I did not know that you posted here. Nice tries on the BR's! Seeing you land backfirst with the ski on top of you did not help my courage any. But hey, at least you try! I've been to much of a weenie to even try ONE.
Looks like a good time was had by all at Idok's pad. :trink26:

we were sloshed :Banane01:

WAB- This will only be my third post.
That landing did hurt a little. Took the pole to the chest. The other attempts turned into flat landing nosestabs. Not good at all.
I swear I was doing everything Nick told me. Lean forward, turn the bars @ the top of the wave and use my head to start the rotation.
I guess that's why everyone is not doing them.

You looked OK that day I saw you. Hang in there.

If you can, get a ride on Nick's ski. The shorter pole/faster steering seem like they would make a big diff.:Banane01:

we had a great time... no riding pics, but fun was had by all and the waves were in the waist high range w/ som bigger ones rolling in....

Started on my quest to learn the no handed barrel roll... it was a rocky start, but I will get it... I just can't seem to get back to the bars.... the ski just fly's away from me... I need to lean forward more, I guess

a few shots....

Well it sure sounds like fun, I'm glad everyone had a good time.
Nick and Rob I'm glad you guys injoyed the Crown:friday: . I wish I could have been there to help you finish it. I hope you shared. We'll have to see what else I can bring down next time.:woot:
Just photoshop me into the background of this pic and it will be like I was still there.

I went through the same thing guys... I went from the blaster to the sj and that was pretty rough... I was doing all the tricks on a B1 except backflips and rolls and had to start over again learning something a lot harder... that's why I was so intent on learning and progressing when i first started to ride... I wanted to get on my blaster so bad sometimes because it was easier and I was more use to it, but I stuck it out and it was well worth it IMO
