i must just be getting lucky cause i hear a lot of people say they snap off. but i do subs all the time and mine is fine. i almost always ride flat, but when i was in FL i broke motor mounts. tweeked my steering bracket and hooks. and chipped off some of my hood. never have had a problem with my nose piece. (lol, please note that none of that was doing cool stuff... just bailing) although it is flimsy as hell and i dont even like to sit on it. if i ever do an internal fuel fill, i will reinforce the hell out of it biaxial. probably will do that if i start getting inverted. (on purpose that is)

Also, Paul (Magoos) is coming with a new nose piece to give the square a round nose sort of. Might check on that.

200 sounds expensive but if you value your time as money, its probably the cheaper route. expecially if you want to know its not gonna break and look good.
