I have been researching this pipe for a couple of weeks now with some good results but since I have not found quite what I am looking for, I figured I might as well just ask...
Are strainers the number one must use item with these pipes?
Are the stock 38mm SBN carburetors on my SJ going to be fine with this pipe?
Will a Racelogic freestyle ported engine be an issue?
I did the porting, but did not max out the ports to the limit of the templates, it is very close however just not quite to the limit and I ride in Lake Ontario most of the time and other freshwater back lakes. I do have an old style ADA girdled head and R&D conical f/a's. No ignition mods or timing advances, all stock. I have read a mix of reports saying all will be fine down to needing 101LL Av fuel and MSD enhancers. Compression is about 185 on 35cc domes. Thanks for any input guys and gals, I really can't wait to get this puppy all set up and running so let the feedback begin.
