Im probably over thinking this and worrying myself, I'm not mechanically inclined so will have someone install this for me but I need to tell him the right way and order the parts....
have a 2011 SXR and a 2007 X2 gen 2. Both 100% stock.
I would like to add a bilge to both, especially the X2 as I'm paranoid it will sink (they are known for it). The SXR I will fit 1 pump. The X2 I'm going to put in 2.
I already have-
Hose
1x rule 500 automatic pump
2x blowsion outlets.
Blowsion dual bracket.
I was going to order 2 more of the Rule 500 automatics, one single Blowsion bracket and 1 more outlet.
I would like a master on/off so the pump will run when lanyard is off (when I fall off for example) but so I can turn it off when I'm finished so it doesn't run battery down). I was thinking of mounting this in the engine bay, so I can turn it in when I go out, and turn it off when I'm finished and back on shore. I assume this is he right way to do it?
And is there anything else I need? (I'm not at all mechanically minded but will pay someone to do it but will need instructions).
Finally I assume automatic pumps are ok and have no downsides?
Where do I buy the wiring? Blowsion have all the parts but can't see a wiring kit? The guy who will fit it is pretty handy with wiring and he has basic connectors and parts etc.
Help much appreciated I realise it's probably week one day one stuff for most of you guys but not for me (I just enjoy the riding not wrenching!)
