Custom/Hybrid Solas SS Mag 12 vein Why are the water outlets not 90 degrees ? or is it just mine ?

So why make a great part but finish it with 2 lousy brass elbows ?
I replaced them with the sample on the left,

Damage during shipping! Sometimes they are delivered to us like that, but they are supposed to be 90deg.

Tks Chris.....that makes much more sense....I figured I was missing some trick or other....fortunately its a quick fix and no damage at all to the stator itself. Never had any issues on anything else shipped so far its been fantastic .....How's your DASA motor coming along ?....cant wait to get mine now ..forgot to ask you...it know its a 4 mm, but what cc displacment / piston size ?

One of my 90s was bent too. Luckily they are cheap to replace.
