Other Solar trickle charger?

I keep my ski at the lake where I also keep my boat. I dont have lakefront property, but Im less than 1 mile from where they are docked. I cant get electricity there to run a charger. This is the one big thing holding me back from going to total loss. I was wondering if anyone has used a solar charger to keep their battery charged? Can I use a charger like this on one of the lightweight LI batterys?

Thanks-

Just an idea...You could get a regular deep cycle marine battery, wire in an inverter and hook up a trickle charger that. Of course this would need to be put into some type of box. The main battery would need occasionally charged but the inverter and trickle charger shouldn't draw much amperage. Just an idea.

use the solar charger, as long as it doesn't have a de-sulpher mode. also the LI batteries don't like to be left on the charger after they are charged. I have left mine on float mode overnight but that is about it.

why not remove the battery charge at home and take it with you when you go?

because that would just plain suck. Just make sure you have a good size battery and you should be fine. My Deka 16 A/H battery would last me 2-3 days on a single charge. It'll probably take all week to charge the battery back up.
