So what does your Wally world stock now? No more attwoods

I fail to see the point to this also.... ok, so a little more $ for Attwoods new line. It looks like you can just replace the motor and not have to tear-out, sand, re-glue when they crap out (and that's a big IF).

A little more money may not mean much to you, but it does to me.

On the old V500 model you didn't have to take out the base every time... The motor was replaceable just like the new Tsunami model.

Also I don't know how many times i have to say it but, the base of the Tsunami sucks, there is very very little flat surface area to glue to.

Just busting balls, I hate price related threads. Its not a cheap sport, get used to it.

Its much cheaper than other powersports though... Thats the bright side.

Rule 500 = garbage

been running them for about 10 years now........

I ran the same one from 99 until 06... added a second pump around 2002, went back to single, then reinstalled it around 2004 until I sold the hull in 2006. I think I still have them in a box now or gave them away. Dont know how you can call that garbage...... But it just personal preference.

The bases on the old ones sucked too... most ppl glued the whole egg/motor down.

I'm sure the Tsunami bases suck also, but you can get away with glueing the cage and still being able to replace the motor if still need be.

p.s. Find another sport if $5 dollars is going to break you!

ok, well they are garbage to me... I have never had RULE fail on me, I don't like them b/c of the air locking. The RULE 360's don't air lock as much. When I started using Attwoods I had to decided between RULE 360 or Attwood V500. I choose the attwood b/c of the cheaper costs and larger GPH rate.

gotcha......... I dont worry about the air locking, the electric bilge for me is just back up, with 2 scuppers I do not need them and rarely turn them on unless I am just floating around for a bit and do not want to have to swim down to get my ski!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i never once said I can't afford this sport. I never said it would break me. I never said it was cheap either, but who doesn't want to save money???:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Imagine if for every product you buy (no just jetskiing stuff) that you could save $4, over one year that would add up. The extra cost of purchasing three of these newer more expensive attwoods over the older ones = 1 tank of gas to go skiing.

Y'all that are givin' me crap b/c I don't like spending extra money send me the cost difference for buying these new pumps and I'll shut up, but until then, y'all are crazy.

wow everyone seems a little uptight in this thread, must be the cabin fever, lol. I did like the lower center of mass with the old ones, took more to knock it free versus a tall skinny one. Anyways, I noticed my Wally World carries them now as well, The 800gph may go in if either of my old ones break. I think it uses the same outlet diameter, I hope?
