Kevin, Jake and I and a couple dudes from Huntington hit it up Monday morning. The surf was smaller than forecasted but it was still super fun. The whole session turned into a slash fest. Even though the surf was small the waves were holding open for about 75 yards. There were no paddle surfers yet but we did share it with a few step surfers. All in all a really good ride. I didn't ride today, had to work early. Forecast is saying a storm front tomorrow with building surf. Matt and I are riding Thursday and Friday. Hopefully it won't be too windy. Who's ever available come on down and ride with us.

Word travels fast in the surf world and it doesn’t take long for them to invade and even take over our normal riding spot.

Riding there today and a couple small boat's showed up to anchor and sit on the sandbar to surf.That did not take long.One guy was aggro in his center console boat and decided to drive over near us to throw some wake our way.I hope he feels better.I'm gonna need a bigger boat.

With a combo swell both sides of the rivermouth well produce excellent waves.I think the north side has a little more juice. Stopped and talked to John 227 as he was coming in and me and a friend were going out and he said as you ride this place you just have to ask yourself "where am I". People pay good money to go on surf trips to ride waves like this.Super fun is an understatement.

The sandbar this morning was SICK!!! For once, to our surprize, there were no paddle or tow surfers at all. Just five of us trading off great shaped waves! Surflines forecasting some decent surf in the 4-7' range for Wednesday and Thursday. We're riding both days- We'll bust out the Go Pros for then.

Cough cough, I'm feeling sick on Thursday... if it is like today I may retire early and live in a van down by the river. Start paying off surfline to post 1ft and wind chop so we can have it all to ourselves again.

Absolutely Joe. We were all beginners at one time! A bunch of us will be riding on Saturday morning. Meet us at the Oceanside lanch ramp at 7am. Every bodys welcome!
