Snapped Girdle Bolt causes lean condition

Yep. I snapped a girdle bolt...how I have no idea. It was fine for a couple rides, but the nut holding the corner of the cyllinder down must have came loose. Yesterday, when I rode it, I noticed it free-revving when I was in the air. I checked and realized the nut was loose enough to turn by hand...now I gotta pull the carbs and intake to get at the cyllinder and tighten it down good.

The plugs were light brown and dry and my pistons were clean as a whistle! :wall:

actually you were getting a nice gray haze on the plugs

is it al dialed in now?
