Super Jet sn won't start

ok, so doing a few mods to my SN and have it all buttoned back up. got it started briefly and then buttoned up the e-box and put it back in....went to run on the hose and would only run for a couple of seconds. When I try to start it it will sputter every several rotations and IS igniting something, but it just will not fire up and stay running.

One of the upgrades is an MSD enhancer and a reworked JSS coil. I've checked for spark and it seems to have spark. I've swapped in a different coil and a different cdi with the same results. I'ts got new oem start stop wiring harness and I've also tried it with the black/white wires disconnected

Could this be a stator issue? the ski ran last year, but had not been started this year.

any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,
hbski

From trying to start so many times, I can now hear fuel sloshing inside the chamber on the pipe. Could it just be so flooded that it won't clear? should i pop the plugs and flip it upside down and try to run the cases dry by turning the engine over several seconds?

Turn it over w/o plugs and see how much fuel is in there. Cover your eyes.

push the red stop button as you crank it over with the plugs out. if there is a ton of gas in there, it squirts out and the plugs ignite it, the whole engine compartment is going to be a blazing fire. i know, i've done it.................:banghead:

I'm moved by DASA power!
If nothing else it will sound like a cannon went off in your garage, been there, done that. Even if you clear the pipe, you should make sure you get any left ove gas that might be in the water box or you might have a surprise on your hands.do you have a spark tester/checker. I'd go back over all my electrical connections. To start. I've had great luck at them, but others haven't had the best experience with JSS coils, just throwing that out there.

He has already tried that. Probably something else, did you try another set of plugs yet?

Update: Probably was just extra flooded. While waiting on some extra hands to flip the ski over, I got on it's side toward the exhaust assuming that this would help push anything in the case out the exhaust ports....Had it completely disconnected from the fuel and got it to fire up and it ran for 4 or 5 seconds on just what was in the case and pushed out a bunch more.

Thanks for the replies guys!
