Super Jet Sn sj plastic nose bumper conversion... Need help!

So I just bought the blowsion plastic nose piece that replaces the rubber bumper. On the blowsion.com it says it just glues right on. When I was looking at it today it looks like I'll have to do some cutting and shaving. Bu not sure if it's gonna line up right. Can anybody who has some experience with the plastic bumper conversion help me out. I need some insight on what to do. Thanks

Why would you replace a rubber "bumper" with a high dollar plastic piece that's going to break on first marginal impact?

I needed to replace the rubber bumper because it was falling apart and all tore up anyways. the only thing that was holding it on any more was the eyelet. Just thought the plastic nose piece would be a better way to go.
