Freestyle SN build! (rocker,short,tray,adj holds,eng, whole 9yrds)

I used a hole saw to cut the hole for the new location, took the cut out and it fits almost perfect in the old hole if you use the same size hole saw lol mixed up some glass bubbles and resin to smooth it into the exsisting hole, when it was dry sanded it smooth layed a couple layers of 6oz glass over each side and feathered it out with some 60grit and it turned out pretty damn good.

Good idea, that hadn't even crossed my mind. I'm going to do the same. For the exhaust port out the back, did you just hack-saw the stock pipe at an angle and epoxy it in place? I kind of want to do something similar but am worried it will rattle itself loose eventually if its not bolted in.

I actually cut about a 6 in piece of pvc pipe 2in diameter, the exhaust tubing fits nice a snug in it. i cut the hole in the back to fit the pvc nice and tight. cut the angle to match on both the pvc and pipe. I used 5200 to hold everything together. pretty much the same as i set up my one way valve on the other side. I layed the pink foam in the bottom of the tray and left enough room that the 2 part foam will wrap the exhaust tube and drain tube completely. There really isnt a ton of vibration back there and once the foam is set around everything i really dont think you would have to worrie about anything coming loose. 5200 is some strong stuff. i put my drain valve in with it and three years of riding it was still rock solid when i started this build.

No i havent got a chance to weigh it yet i wanted to get the hull completely done, im goin to take to my shop and put it on the big shipping scale before it goes to paint. I have a good feeling its goin to be considerably lighter, ive cut alot off of it haha.. As for the plugs i wasnt goin to go without, be nice to keep any water that might get in form absoring into the foam! You might still be able to put them in, hole saw, a couple screws and some 5200. I got mine off west marines website i think 15$ each
