Filled in some high/low spots, hour sanding and here is where I'm at. Going to put 2 layers of glass overtop on the outside f the hood, flip over smooth out anything that needs it on the inside and add a layer of glass, then fill up any holes I don't need. Hood is getting there finally. I thought it would be real quick, probably be around 100 hours +/- a few
Still slowly working on the ski when I have time. Got some more work on the tray done, still more to go. Shaped it up a bit better. Thickened up the edges where the tray is lowered tonight. Got a few me goodies. Have not posted much lately cause any work I do is not really going to look different really till I'm ready for paint. Also filled some old bilge and cooking holes in.Looks like you're almost ready for some paint! Better grab a 5mil wetsuit cause there's lots of summer left. Looking good!
What did the stock hull weigh?
I have not forgot about this ski or this build thread, life has been real busy the last 10 weeks. I lost my last two grandparents, went on my yearly vacation, which was cut short for a funeral, and have just been busy in general with life, wife, kid, works, etc... I guess last years winter project is this years winter project as well.Doubt it I'm not a rich manIt's looking good, it's unfortunate you will put all this work into it just to sell it in a year.
Yes I have still been plugging away at it but not much for updates, cause it might get old if I keep posting sanding and glassing photos. Big things coming though...Any more work done?![]()
