If it got finished before ice melted I would find open water, doubt that will be the case. The hull still needs some major loving. Hopefully within a week I’m shaping up the bottom deck of the nose again. On another note I picked up some used rrp bars. They were not in mint condition, lots of scratches and hack saw cut off ends. I brought them to work and made each end of the bar the same length from the center as well as clean up the ends for the heck of it. Sand blasted and powdercoated ink black and they are good as new! Also motor cylinder is on getting bored out and pistons and gasket it are on order!

Got the majority of the glass work done under the pole bracket area. Once it cures I’ll sand it smooth and should be on to the nose again.

I have not forgotten about this ski! Still getting at it. Layed a little carbon on the underside where the pole will mount. Make a new cut accord the front of the nose and this girl looks about 20 years younger. Photo takes right after cut so still needs sanding. And I’m nearly ready to build the fourth bottom deck nose. Oh and I got a set of ported cases coming to me, aswell as my ported cylinder is going to be picked up tomorrow with some other motor parts, with a fresh bore! Whoop whoop getting excited!

I am sure no one is ever expecting this to happen,but here goes! The new nose is going to happen this week. Got my foam cut, stacked, glued and placed to start shaping it up. More photos to come later this week as I make progress.

Went to assemble my motor tonight and turn out my crank is no good. Didn’t look at it till now. With everything else in the motor being new I’m not going to risk running the crank, 2 bearings feel a little iffy one f them makes noise and appears to be pitted out a little. Not worth the risk.

Got some more time in on the nose tonight and decided it needed a little more cutting to get just a bit more rocker on the nose and it was absolutely worth it! Probably only one more shaping session on the nose and I can lay some glass!!!

Still need to clean up the extra cloth, but so so so happy about how this turned out. The nose will get some extra beef on it yet but the shape is good!
