Freakin awesome :brap::hail::biggthumpup:

I keep trying to work smaller and smaller wave/wake.
I did about a knee high on sat.. and about 30 foot boat is about the min. I can backy off of.... I am proud of slutty .... I love that little whip backy....
Sometimes, I get the same face from a huge backy as I do the ones like "How the F- did he get around on that little ass thing..." Either way... FUN ! :brap: Not saying I get around on all. :splatt: :haha:

Dude, that surf doesn't look much worse than what we've had for a while now. With exception to this week, when my damn skis are down!

And flips on small waves are pretty fun. It used to be that I wouldn't flip on anything less than over head. This last time the superjet went back together, I watched ross do some flips on small waves, so I decided to figure them out. Let me just say, thank god the nose on my ski is reinforced. I've hit bottom way to many times since then.

I will say this, flares (at least that's what we call em) are much safer to do in the small stuff.

Hell yeah... I tried a sideways flippy thing a few weeks ago... you barely need rotation, just hit it w/ some speed. and throw to the side like a 360 tailwip

We've been doing them a little different than that. Ross and I watched Jared, one of the newer guys in the crew, try flips, and he would do them sort of off axis. Ross started doing these flares, and I decided to follow suite.

Basically, we'll pull like a flip.....and right at the lip CRANK the bars one direction or the other. It's super disorienting right now. I never know where I'm at until I find the water somewhere over my right shoulder (if I crank left). Landing them almost feels like you are coming out of a barrel roll. It's super odd, but they look pretty cool.

Ahhhhh.... I heard you don't want to do it off a big wave... kinda keep it small... waist-chest size...

I need to remember to try those...

It's a whitewater rafting helmet...

It's light, awesome protection, looks good, protects the nose (unlike full face BMX helmets), no obstructions of view.

I've gone through about every type of helmet you could imagine since I started riding and nothing tops this baby...
