The problem is there is no voltage on the brown wire when the start button is pushed. Last week there was, now after setting for a week there is none. What all would cause this? Just a bad start switch?
On the switch itself I've always checked by used a ohm meter with the complete circuit feature with the beep. Put a prong on both end of the plug(switch side) and pressed the button to see if it was even making a loop.
I see youve tried jumping on the E-Box side and did nothing. Did you make sure to jump the white plug(start) and not he balck one(stop)
Solonoids. You should have 12v constant on the battery side(post thats getting direct battery feed). When you press the start button, you should have 12v on BOTH poles. So measure the "exit" Post and see if it has 12v when start button is pressed. If you dont, relay is dead.
I see you have jumped it witha srewdriver and it fired up. So we know the rest of your conenctions AFTER the relay are good and we a pretty confident everything BEFORE the relay are good. .......I'm saying relay.
Buying used relays is crappy dude. I've been throw 5 used when i finally just bought one new one for like $30. Used relays are no more reliable then your own. Dont skip on a part that controls the starting of your ski. It's not worth saving the $10.
I got mine from Paul at LPW, I think I paid like $25 or $35 dollars or something last year in Daytona.
