SJ Throttle Cable Lengths

Her's another solution, but not $27.00 (sorry).. I offer a cable that will work with the diaphrams mounted correctly, has a 6mm thread on the carb end, and has the 10mm threaded throttle end. Many Kawasaki customers have problems with the " stainless" cable guide at the intake manifold breaking, this usually only happens if you make good HP or turn high Rpm. when you say diaphram mounted correctly, which direction do you mean? Diaphram facing engine, or facing away from engine?

MUCH beefier cable, far better quality, for 27 bucks brand-new.

Is this Kawasaki cable any longer than the sn cable?

If he's mounting the carbs with the fuel pumps facing the hull he might what to use the 10mm Kawasaki fuel pump side bracket.

Diaphram facing engine works the best as per most engine builders.

WPS sells 1 cable for damn near all yami's its long enough and cheaper than oem. If you can get a SN or Raider OEM cable somewhere local they will work with room to spare.

I don't know how long it is exactly. But it's reaching just fine in my single carb, reverse mounting (drum towards bulkhead), but that's with -2 pole and XMW straight bar setup.

Ended up taking a chance and ordered a SquareNose Throttle cable. Hopefully it fits in nicely, if not it's taking a trip to Terry Cable to get lengthened.
