Man where do I start?!? My ski is layin' all over the place!

1.)I have 1 old school 650 stock F/A which bolts to the carb with 4 bolts. My current PROK adapters have 3. How do I convert once I find another stock F/A?

2.)I have a greater Yamaha head running 150PSI with current domes. What do I need to maximize PSI and still run pump gas? (I already emailed Greater, just figured I would post here also)

3.)Yamaslut...what was the automotive self sticking trim you used for your bumper action?

4.)Does twist still exist and if so where? I need Orings and maybe some higher compression domes for my friends ski.

Probably more to come...I just can't think right now.

Thanks all!:headbang:

I'm confussed.......are you wanting to put the PROK adapter on the stock carb? The are two types of Mikuni's, the round (3 bolts I think) and square body (4 bolts). I don't know if that helps you, but thought I would throw it out there.

I want to put the 650 stockers in. My curent Proks adapters are mounted using 3 bolts. The stock 650's bolt on with 4.

It sounds like I need to convert round body to square body then....right?

Grrr they just called back realizing it was 1-1/4". Whatever :grumble:. It'll work. I might use a couple bolts or rivets to protect my investment. They are also charging me tax although I am out of state :ugh2: I'll write it off...

Forget roundbody carbs. All the carbs we use (38's 44, 48, 46, etc) are squarebody SBN carbs.
The OEM 38's that came with SJ's have 3 mounting holes on top to mount a flame arrester. The 44mm carbs have 4 mounting holes (650's &/or 61x cases). So you either need to get 44mm carbs or just use the OEM dual 38's flame arrester.

Thats exactly what I ended up doing. I found a 96-up OEM F/A. Live and learn:rolleyes:
