To trow inside an Aftermarket hull.

Got it?
A new ski is $8,000.00 ! A new parted out hull will bring you say $2,000.00 at the very most! I would think you could buy a nice motor and pump for $6,000.00 and it would not be a bone stock setup either,Unless I am missing something ? :Eyecrazy:

i'm sure that he is using more than just the engine and pump. there are tons of small various parts that he would need on a bare/brand new aftermarket hull.

yes you may be able to source all of those parts from various locations.

Buying a new hull gives you every single part, nut and bolt you will need all in one location. and all the parts are brand spanking new. sometimes time is worth more than money to some people in certain situations.

Yeah it would be a nice way to go, it just seem's like an expensive way to go JMO.

I couldn't agree more. I built my last ski from a bare 07 hull that was used for that purpose. I had to buy every little part and it took many sources to do so. It wasn't that difficult but it was much more pricey than I originally thought and I ended up with a new ski full of old used parts. My next build I will be using my 96 as a donor ski for all the parts. It's in pristine condition and loaded with all the goodies already so it's an ideal donor.

If u want to build all small items as: long exh tube, oem waterbox, bendix, hood latches, complete pump, oem shaft, oem coupler.... Im sure u gonna spend more.

Ahhhhhhhh, when life was simple and I would have had time to lay out all the parts like that.
