Show and Tell Request: Hand Warmers

coung (2ride) has hand warmers on his ski. i was skeptical at first until i rode his ski at pismo. i loved them and plan to put them on the ski im building. he did them like the pictures above except with larger diameter water line. i felt like i could ride longer with them in cold water because my hands didnt get stiff and cramp up. im not sure how he routed his water lines , but i did see someone elses ski who had pissers on the bars and didnt get enough water pressure to squirt water out them. so not sure if you can just tee your pisser , or do you have to run it straight up your handle pole?

I have had this set-up on all of my skis for a long time, leave it on there year 'round, just swap hoses under the hood. You have to wear gloves 'cause even icy water gets very hot when you get on the throttle. In cold wheather/cold water you'll need a dry or $400 wetsuit, a full face helmet or hood, 6mm $40 diving booties will keep your feet warm but the gloves are the only weak link. There is nothing available thin enough to grab the handle bar, that's why you need hand squirters (the polite term).

i read on here that rubber dish gloves work well. they are thin enough to manuver or put your riding gloves over so they don't rip. If you are using a drysuit you could just tuck the ends up under your suit.
