So I am putting back together a ski I bought about a month ago with a stock pole cut down 3.75 inches. I drilled the eye bolt supplied with the blowsion limiting rope and now after installing it I see that when the pole goes down the eye bolt lands right on top of the stock hood pole pad. I was wondering who else has this problem and what have you done to alleviate it? I was thinking of adding two of those blowsion pole pad stacked on top of each other a little further back but still in front of the fire extinguisher canister itself so that the pole lands on it and not the stock pole pad. What do you think?
