short shaft questions

How do I change out the bearings in the short shaft housing..
It's a 96+ superjet..
What tools do I need to do this, and what parts do I need to replace....

Pretty sure you'll need a bearing press.

and snap ring pliers

its pretty simple, i jus built one, but you do have to have accsess to a press, pull out the seals and press the shaft out of the bearing and the pull the snap rings out then press the old bearing out and reverce it for install. remember to install the oil seal on the inbound side prier to the shaft.

definately get em if time is not an issue... they are cheap and easy to replace
