A while ago Mudphish posted pics of a blue Superjet with and Xft hood the Gunwhales shaved completely off and made flat. Then it had footstraps- are there any pics of this ski in action? Anyone know the where-abouts of it?

Brett Armstrong owned that ski.... Not sure if it was sold or not. It is wierd... I wanted to hear some more about it too.

I'm kinda surprised that more people never did that.

It doesn't look the greatest but it doesn't look that bad either.

It seems like it would be fun as hell to ride once you got use to it.

That looks like a good idea making the tray flat all the way across.

Do you think it would compromise the hull integrity?

If reinforced properly it should not effect hull strength, but it would be getting rid of a LOT of foam, just dont sink it... I kinda want to get a fugly sqaure hull and try that sometime.

I think it will crack like x-2s do. it is pretty much the same structural concept but if anything less strength due to not having the strength from the c shape sides of the x-2 footwells.
