well after taking a realistic look at the type of riding this ski is being setup for I have decided to leave the trim lever system off the ski and will instead use the adjustible trim tube . I figured when I ride ,I ride with the trim up all the time anyway so why have the complication of the trim lever . Besides I noticed that even if my system didn't have any cable flex or strech the cable running to the trim nozzel did , and it did by a large margin basicaly nulling the triml ever movment. But if some day I do decide to run a lever trim system I would probably run madscientists trim setup

ok so today I modiffied the SXR impeller to fit my 650 pump. sorry no pic of this. I figured everyone has seen what a set back impeller looks like. I don't know exactly how far back the impeller is set but the blades could not get any closer to the stator vains due to how the impeller sets in the wear ring and housing . What I do know is that I doubt I will ever have any cavitation problems now. I am stripping the hull so I can repair some small cracks and prep for the X-2 tubbies. I will also be doing a slite hood trim to knock down the large hump that the factory hood has and rework the air tubes in the hood for better air flow . I don't know if it is a good thing or not but the original paint came right off with a razor blade . Is that normal ? Either way I still have a long way to go.

Yes, the origional paint comes off with a window scraper/razor. It's good because you need to glass to the SMC. A lot less sanding, but still sand with 40 grit b4 you glass/glue on anything.

Your doing tubbies and skipping the nose fill right?

unfortunatly this ski build has been canceled. The hull has been junked and I will be selling the high value parts soon. Thanks to all who have helped me along the way.
