stuntbike...I will give ya one thing you got the right idea having multi skills with the sj,b1,dont let the sluts punk ya,get out there and get someone to shoot some footage from shore, thats the best way to get some respect, any other wise its always a turned head to the big hits for newbies...nothing backs up a whole buncha talk better than a good pic or better yet a 3 min vid edit.hel cams are only 100 bucks now also

saying you get 25 ft rolls is gonna be REAL tough to back up though.

Scott. ya think that motor and pump are good to go for awhile?

30' is pretty high. I may have hit that mark a few times kitesurfing but it's scary. My Dad's building pictured below is only 18' tall at the peak, the walls are 12' tall. I've fallen more than 50' while rock climbing as well. There is a pretty high kitesurfing picture posted. You can easily see my take off spot. 30'+ is a tough mark to hit.

he's got something else going for him. those sloppy days you guys hate are like our good days over here. gulf riders rip no matter how bad the conditions are.

I don't ususlly either... I don't care enough anymore..

I'm done w/ slop. I ride when it's good or at least small and fun...

exactly... it's difficult to have fun when you literally can't do stuff you want cause the chop won't allow... I end up doing what I did last week and just be pissed off the whole time.... For new riders it doesn't matter cause you are just trying to figure crap out anyway and don't know any better...

that is especially true for gulf riders, cause horrlible crappy chop is the norm... I got news for ya... it won't make you a better trick rider, but will increase your stamina and phisical ability... In order to be a good trick rider you need clean waves to practice... then you can start doing stuff off less attractive waves as you build your confidence...

idk about that. I'm hucking tricks in bad conditions. I don't think my tricks will get worse when it's clean.

I was making a general statement... and it does hold true..

you would learn much faster in clean waves... simple as that..
I'm just pointing out the most optimum way to learn as I see it...

Think about it.. why do something that is more difficult first??? Get your timing and stuff down on easy waves then take it to crap and learn em. When I first started rolling I had trouble, like anyone w/ setting up in slop... in clean surf you have more time to think and prepare... I really think that help w/ confidence, amplitude and technique

my point of view is. Slop sucks so I dont ride it cause I rather wait for the good stuff, but if you are riding slop alot and can get tricks done in it,when it gets clean you find you can REALLY rip.

I suck in the slop, wears me out to quick and setups are a pain to find.I dont even bother with it.once in a while ill take the b1 out in it if im hard up feenin

I love slop... It only makes you better...

People use to b1tch about the tracks being beat up during practice when I raced Mini Moto... not me, and come race day, i was always up front with the pro's in the mix.
