According to the forcasts... It will be blown out down there, that's why I'm going North to St. Aug. The forcast has much less wind and cleaner conditions... Also w/ the swell being so southerly in origin, it might miss Sebby. Keep that in mind that the Bahamas will block some of that swell..

I wish it was easier for everyone to relocate 2hrs north. lol

North side might be pretty clean Im hoping down past 3rd peak?

I wish you didn't HAVE to wear helmets up there.

why??? What's wrong w/ a helmet???

just put it on and forget about it...

Easier said then done.

thats absolutly rediculous-----whether you think about it as protection from your ski, or from other riders:

a helmet can and will save your life :smashfreakB:

Your right and I agree to an extent. I don't ride super aggro not do I get inverted riding. If I have to worry about other people on skis hitting me in the head, then I need to ride with other people. I can understand them being mandatory for rides like Daytona Freeride and such but if I was up there and say only 3 people were in the water with knee to waist high waves, I feel much more COMFORTABLE not wearing one and willing to take my chances.

So, is this thing still on ?

Thinking of getting up there for Sunday weather permitting.

I'm riding for sure. Even if the storm turns north (not gonna happen)
Sunday is gonna be a great day on the whole east coast of Florida. The Hurricane is going to be like a vacuum and suck anything around here down to it. I predict sunny all day with winds out of the south/southwest
at 10-15.

Afternoon update.... looks like windblown surf all weekend.

Saturday:....... mostly suny SE 15-20mph
Sunday:......... 40% chance of rain E 10-20mph..

The hole should be breaking all weekend.

Its gona be sloppy boys :beerchug:

I hear ya tut...I hated them when I first started wearing one too....but now I cant even ride without one!

it doesnt take much of a bump in the head by your ski to get your bell rung or knocked unconscious......

if you dont like a full face, get a protec like slutty's old one.......better than nuthin' :chairshot::splatt:

Just got back a couple hours ago from riding. There was really no waves this afternoon. Good for me since it was only my 3rd time on a stand up ski.
