man, I'm just looking for a slow paced weekend after the last couple...
btw - My ski is not starting properly and my long shaft will go anytime now... I'm kinda waiting for that to blow before I go anywhere... It's lasted way longer than it looked like it would... damn thing

Wayyy back, I used to ride a lot in Melbourne at the infamous Sarno extension jet ski lake, but moved away.
I'm back living in Melbourne and will make it out if I can get the ole' 550sx to start pumping water (gotta be a clog in the line).
I'm hoping to have a much newer ski for the next meet in September but am stuck on the classic decision...big hp but big weight SXR or the lighter SJ. I guess I could always buy a SXR and slap the motor in a carbon hull but that's a lot of $$$.
Looking forward to riding again!

Cool! Looks like we got another guy in town!.... If you end up doing a Carbon lightweight SXR you will need to talk to Bobby/Trinity Composites.... he's in Palm Bay... Surf ready his hull will be around 65-70lbs.... the lower is 24lbs,
You can try out my light weight OEM SJ as well

I hope monster hole is small this weekend. It will only be my 4th time on a standup so I hope it's small.
FL-cracker no prob on the call back. I'm to hot from working outside to take my ski out for a run this afternoon. What lake? I might be up for a ride Friday evening. My trailer isn't even registered yet and I don't yet have numbers for my ski either (I do have my pink sales slip).
