Custom/Hybrid sealing a 2nd pulse line what to use

i had a shop install a 2nd pulse fitting, before i even got to push the hose on it moved.
they had used liquid jb weld.

edit now that the jbweld has been scraped off i can see the hole was drilled to big.

the motor is fully assembled now and fully bolted in the hull so its kind of an arse job to fix now.
im in the process of scraping the jbweld off without getting chit in the hole.
what would be recommended to seal this back up again?
epoxy or jbweld again? something different?
cheers

I'd J-B it in and let it set up properly.

Ideally it's just an interference fit, pressed in and nothing else needed.

Best way to seal that, pull the carbs and intake and reed cages. Then using a piece of tape, I like the blue painters tape, seal the bottom of the hole on the inside of the case as a back stop. Then mix up a little jb weld or what ever u like to use, fill the hole and add just a tiny bit for shrinkage then let set for 24hrs. After its set remove the tape and your fill job will be flush with the inside of the intake track. Then reinstall removed parts.

yeah thats what sucks the hole was drilled to big so its no longer an interference fit.
the fitting swims in the hole.
i didn't want to take it apart again but i guess i have to :cussing:

I like Mark44's idea, tapping fittings would be much better then just a press fit, tight seal. But if you don't even want it there.....then fill.

Hey Chris that head looks sano on my motor thanks again.
