There is no big deal it’s just a different ways of doing it some look for better and different ways to improve on something some don't.

the pressure of applying the tubbies will seal the screw holes... I actually had epoxy drip into the hull through the screw holes w/ the screws in there... that's a crap load of pressure and one hell of a solid install...

follow my instructions on how to put them on and I will guarentee that they will be on for life... I have taken some brutal landings on my ski and not even the slightest break anywhere

I always use Epoxy and filler, then screw (larger than the Blowsion supplied screws) & counter sink the screws, fill over w/ epoxy & filler then glass them on and sand forever. I use a right angle grinder to remove screws inside the hull. Smoother look and stronger too. I would use a chissel if the screws were smaller then clean up w/ right angle grinder. Its more work, but this kinda coin and this big of a mod is worth the extra time and effort to ME. Deffinateley a winter project for me as I will be in the garage in winter anyways.

yea well he needs to get on the water asap so we did it in a few hrs..they might not be as pretty but are plenty strong..one advantage i can see using the glue instead of epoxy is that the glue is somewhat flexable so when they take a hit they have some play instead of cracking like epoxy can..either way..i think the panheads look good..plus they grab alot better..(courser thread and a bigger dia)

Agreed, and if he is not sure he completeley likes them this would be easier to remove. As far as the epoxy cracking, I use as little as need be then use glass to secure them more than anything else, the glass should flex w/ the hull (or so we hope) so far so good. You know what your doing bro, this aint ur 1st tubby party!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glue em and ROLL w/ IT!!!!!
