I bought a 97 superjet, it had a few mods including factory b pipe but all the tuning screw where almost right open.
I am going to put on a riva head with 175psi
I looked at the b pipe site but it really only gave a setting for top end
What would be a good setting on the screws for
bottom end ?
bottom to mid ?
does each quarter turn on the screws effect all pipes the same?

i close them all and open the bottom up 3/4 of a turn
i have found this gives great roll on in the power for the surf

if you go for to much water your pipe goes flat very quickly

That is the setting that i seen on the b pipe site, but i understood that that gave good top end performance
It is really low and low to mid settings i would be after
By the way complete newbie at this so any info welcome

The b-pipe is all about low end throttle response anyway
if you try and run it to wet it will not rev
you may get hit from idle to 4000 -5000k rpm
but seeing as your engine revs straight through that point anyway it becomes very limited in its roll on power and i find them awful to ride like that

bear in mind that what most people think as low end is when they are riding along just on the plane that is about 3500 rpm depending on body mass and ride plate
this is the mid range

Thanks for the input
So i take it top end = bottom screw open half a turn or so, top and middle closed
Bottom end punch = top open a bit middle and bottom closed!
Thanks this will give me a starting point for tuning it to my needs.

for testing reasons I tried changing my setting sunday. I was running top open about 3/4 other two closed. I closed top and kept middle closed, opened bottom between 1/2 and 3/4 -hard to tell exactly since I cant see it and it is a PIA to get my hands in there and i tried a bunch of setting and that is where it ended up-
This cleaned up the low and mid nice. I like this setting a lot better then running the top screw out.

What difference did you see from having the top screw open then changing to the bottom screw open.
I`m just trying to get an understanding of how the different screws effect the power delivery.

I felt more low (little not much) and more mid (noticable) with less hesitation and I can run it a little dryer this way.

dumb ? are you running dual cooling? my kaw is set up with it and i got the bottom screw cracked top about 3/4 to 1 and middle screw closed seemed to work great. also put a 2.0 needle seat in the line from the top of the head to the bypass it will slow down the flow in the head and change the running temp a little cooler.
