It´s time for an update
Snowmobile season is over at least for me. so now i finally have time to work on the freak.
to the progress:
i sanded the inside of the bilge with 240grit and clearcoated it. this i would recommend as it made the carbon look that much better.
i was not really happy with the foothold area. where they where bonded to the bottom of the tray. i´m sure this was solid and water tight but the edge of the foothold over the tray was abit high for my taste and i think would show when turfed. so i grinded the edge down and put 2 layer of glass over the edge. yes glass on a carbon freak. sue me!
then i started turfing. this went way easier than i could have ever expected. i did the easy way doing seams. could probobly look better but i like it. looks better than any turf job i´ve ever done.
i thought i while of how i was going to do it. and then i just went by what i remember seeing in freak photos.
these footholds are definatly going to be tight if a can get my foot in there. haha
25 mill on top 25 mill under heal. and 9mm under middle to front foot.
i still have to turf the dash and the rails. but i´m going to wait with that till ski is together and i have testrun it. i´m abit eager to try it on the water.

haha it´s painted! just plain old black. the rails are not painted and the dash is not painted as it is going to get turf.

You did awesome man! Lovin the black paint and green turf! Now winterize those ski-doo's and get the freak on the water.

the 2 pilar lifts are nice. this a nussbaum 4 metric tons. so about 9000 lbs
Test ride is complete. engine ran great.
all i can say is wow this hull is crazy. love how it responses on input. very quick to turn and still very stable at speed. much more stable than a stock superjet and a superjet with tubbies. havent got much time on it but all i can say is i love it. tem did a very good job on the handling of the hull. definatly need to learn how to ride it. now i´m just hoping for warmer weather. my new wet suit keept me warm tough. a 5/4 steamer.

ski is definatly not finished just to the point where i can ride it instead of building it
