yeah i hear their is a 80 foot kicker like last year... i had shoulder sergury from a superpipe accident, so i wasnt up their but their is a 80 foot and two of my friends got hurt on that kicker because no one could get speed... so my buddie suda was towed in my a snowmobile and overshot the landing by about 15-20 feet and broke his pelvise.... the other one that went after him broke a collar bone..

******** was insane last year, this year i hear everything is so big everyone is getting hurt..

thanks keith. We got a long and slow recovery ahead...he continues to make progress and we all appreciate the continued support.

i hope we bring kyle home soon...back to kalamazoo.

4/20 update

It has been a week and i just wanted to update everyone on Kyle's condition.

He is slowly progressing, still hasn't talked yet, but is breathing on his own and really trying to work his right side...but we're pretty sure that he will have lost some mobility on just the right side. This is because he hit the left side of his cranium. We all remember psych class and how one side controls the other.


He was airlifted from Marquette MI to Mary Free Bed clinic in Grand Rapids on friday. This is where he will rehab. He goes to Plainwell school jut a few miles north of kalamazoo, so while he isn't home yet...he is close enough for everyone to come see him. However the doctors doesn't want too much stimulus right away.

He hasn't even walked on his own yet...but continues to make improvements. Keep sending all the positive energy his way.

wishing kyle the best recovery jeff..mary free bed has an awsome pt program and i'm sure he will recover nicely..i had a good friend that had a brain anurism(sp) that no one knew he had..well it busted and he ended up in a coma and had 1/8 of his brain removed on the left side...it took him 2 years total from the time of the incident till he was released from mary free bed clinic ...he lost very little of his right side mobility and a little perifial vision to his right but other that that FULL RECOVERY we were told at first that he would never be able to feed himself again..when he got to mary free bed they told us that he was gonna be just fine and they would see to it...he got real fustrated with them but they refused to let him quit!..now we all have the nurses there to thank for thier wonderful job and all they support they gave him...kyle's in good hands there i'm sure he'll be just fine.

I couldn't say crap until they removed my feeding tube, and that was a week or so after I woke up.
I wasn't able to walk until a week before I left.

He's got a long road ahead of him.
