satellite locator

has anybody tried a satellite locating device in their ski as a theft recovery option. I've seen one for cars but they required monthly fees, surely there's a waterproof version that could be foammed in a hull, so you could always find it, if it was ever stolen.

how much are the fees? if it's around the same price as insurance it's probably a good idea.

The ones I saw were like 19.99 per month per tracking device!! BS.

If it was 20 a month to track as many bugs as you have then maybe.

Oh and there was a limit but that didn't seem to bad. I think you could track 4 bugs per month for you monthly rate.

I would hope you would never even need to track something let alone 4 times per month.

Get one of those microchips that you put in your dog, and glass it into the hull somewhere. I think the monthly fee on those is retarded cheap! You may need to make a friend at the vet to do it though. :wink:

the dog chips dont track the dog they only scan them if they are found and it gives the info . but it cant tell you where in the world they are .

There is a GPS dog collar available, but no GPS implantable chip so far. They're not far from it, but it isn't available, yet.
