what ski is that?

'97 Supa Jet.

What type of hood latch is that? What is that purple thing?

X Metal Latch. The purple blob/thingie is a protective cover for the hood latch lock. I've split my head open doing a flip sub on that dang thing.

What start/stop switch is that also?

Modified OEM with integrated bilge switch.

I like the turf going onto the hood.

Thanks!

i think it smooths re intres because it gives you some support in the air,it takes a little effort out of it for me at least,im sure its all in what your use to

Id like a little more info in that modified switch, how did you do it and what switch parts did you use

how do you figure??..you need to move your pole in the air while doing a reentry..i dont see why having it stiff would help??

The pole still moves........

honestly, my pole just floats, where ever I move it moves. It just does not feel like a wet noodle in your hands. Like I said before, I have raced my ski a few times with the X Metal pole with no spring......... I do not know anybody who's pole is set so stiff that it does not move.

If I remeber ill try and weight mine tonight! Also Does anyone know where I can Get turf with the lifters on the side. I ordered them from Blowsion but I got a email back saying that they no longer sell those! I would like to eventually put in foothold but I don't know where I would put them or what kind.

Get surf straps first if you arn't sure about he footholds. Forget the lifters, there time has passed.

Holds or straps is what most people run.

jettrim.com sells the side mats with lifters. Yeah if someone could weigh the rrp pole that would be great. Anyone know if its lighter then the x-metal pole?

Just ride
Stiff pole or spring is all your preference. I really dont think there is a difference I've run both unless the handlepole is so stiff you have to be superman to lift it up then thats just gay. I run a stiff handlepole, but you can move it real easy. It's no difference to me, the only reason I haven't used a spring is because I'll have to buy a pivot bolt and a spring haha $$$.

you should measure a stock pole and come up with it on your own. the lenth is ajustable the angle is good enough just guessing by eye off a picture.

Yea but im not really sure where I want to place them! Where do most guys place them?

imo the best way to tell where you want your straps is just to go out and ride and take note of where your feet are when you feel like your in a comfortable riding position..thats really the only way to get get a good feel for what will work for you

I can measure that angle by myself but i havent find any picture straight from the side. And i forgot to measure that stock pole when i was in garage. And i have now time to make 3d model of that pole and the garage is 200km away...
