Just seeing if it worth the cost or keep the stock pole, but I'm just wondering is the pole from rrp for 799 the hole thing can it be put on stock or do you need all these exra parts blosion is saying you need?

The stock pole on the SXR is terrible and it WILL break. I'd wait till it breaks and then upgrade it, but if you got the cash now...go ahead and get it.

That's the same pole that Kawasaki used on the 750's. I still can't believe that they made the SXR and just used the same piece of crap pole on it.

Hey,if you have your heart set on a pole,go for it! l'm just saying you could take $1400 and spend it doing other things, getting more "bang" for your buck.

No afterburner!
No waterbox!

Get a flywheel.
& a Bilgepump.
Block off the front hole in your hood...open up a 2nd one in the back.

RRP poles are expensive, heavy, but bulletproof. Yes, you need a ton of other parts to run it. I would go with X metal or a stock SJ pole. (much cheaper and lighter) SXRs are heavy as it is.
