Rolling / Flipping a blaster

I know it has been done but no one has posted any useful techniques etc.

Can anyone provide any feedback on techniques used, the power of motor they were running and what speed they were hitting the waves at, would be some great info for all the brave / stupid blaster riders out there.

Thanks!

To roll the blaster.....it just takes a good wave , lots of steering and footstraps.....To flip the blaster it takes the same MINUS lots of steering:usaribbon:

there are no useful techniques for it because not enough peeps are doing it yet...

do you ride surf or flat? what is your setup and experience level?

Ride surf and been riding the blaster for about 6 years now. Setup is currently bone stock, which is why I have never attempted anything as I haven't had enough faith in it however I am in the process of getting another blaster with a 785 ported motor which should hopefully give me enough air to attempt them .. the waves around where I live aren't really that great

You make it sound so easy :p

rolling a blaster... Just like rolling a Superjet, get your weight over the nose to help level the ski out.... or else they are sloppy. IMO

Flipping a blaster.... Bolt on a trim, pull the lever, around you go.... very simple trick with trim..... Now if you want to do one without trim, you better hit the wave WFO right as the wave is getting ready to break and huck that mofo like your trying to throw your back out.

Good luck.

If you can roll a SJ, you can roll a Blaster. You can do it on a stocker, but you will need foot straps. Hit the wave later than you would on a stand up. Throw it the same but throw it harder than normal. Once you do it you will realize it is not that different than a stand up ski.
There are 2 ways to roll a Blaster. A lot of people seem to roll a Blaster to the outside, meaning the ski goes arround the outside. Looks more like a cork screw IMO. The second was is to roll it like a ski. Roll the ski over your body.
Here is how I do them, like a ski roll:

1 Footed roll to the inside:
