It was GraepAep's dry-piped, 860 beast.

The ski was so insanely light, the handling characteristics were waaaaay different.

Korn is the man.

I would love to try one to see how the handling changes from "tank-on-rails" by dropping over 100 lbs.
Isn't GraepAep in Arizona?

Is his the carbon version?
Is it stock length? (In other words, is it just like a stock SXR minus the weight?

I rode with him a few times while he lived in Az. His Trinity was one of the early ones. It has a kick ass paint job on it which was displayed at the world finals a few years back. I was too scared to ask for a ride because I did not want to scratch it. It was right after he got done building it.

Mine is the glass version...about 75 to 80 lbs lighter....and it's a -2. Yes, it changes the handling! .....big time.

I guess this is why all the new aftermarket hulls are now sxr based. With the weight off, they rule.
