What are these 3/16" ball bearing things I keep finding in the engine compartment?

Got me on that one - a bearing that went out at one time?

So ive been grinding all this fiberglass up getting if ready to reinforce and seal up and I still dont know if i need to reinforce the botom of the hull because I am not using expanded foam. suggestions would be greatly appriciated. also, what about the exaust tube and water tubes. Do i need to 5200 these and then glass or can i just glass them in?

I wouldn't glass the tubes in. It won't keep water out.
Just put 5200 or some other, good silicon glue on it.

I would not reinforce the bottom. Hardly anybody rides hard enough to have to do that.
All you're doing is adding weight.
Put some glass on the sides.

I just boxed up my motor so I can send it to Art at Jetworks for a big bore 4mm stroker package. gonna run his 44s, his reeds on stock cages, stock elec. with msd enhanser, custom big bore sleeves for the 4mm big bore and an ADA girdled head with 760 domes. Im kinda nervous spending all this money AND having somebody else put the motor togather...

Why would that make you nervous?

That should make you feel confident! You should be nervous if you were spending that money on a homebuilt motor.

I just hope that everything goes well. Its a lot of money and Im a bodyman in a large shop and I just know how even when rebuilding a new BMW or Audi diff people think diff stuff is important and other stuff not... Ive heard nothing but good about Art and Robert so nothing to worry about.
