Rn Superjet mid shaft.

Will the square nose mid shaft work on my rn build. What parts do not swap from square to rn. Have a bunch of sn parts. I know the elec system can. Do I just change cdi?

What year square is it? If it's a 94-95 it'll fit perfectly. Electrics
Will work, if it's a pre 94 square you need to Mod the cdi for a higher Rev limit

Tank, steering cable, throttle cable, on/off switch, pump, motor mounts, straps, rideplate and intake grate will swap over as well. You will need a RN long exhaust hose and RN waterbox though.

Good to know. Guess I'll be letting those people know.

I retract my statement don't use that water box!

It will work for a budget build, but they should ditch it as they upgrade. We had a local guy who put in one of our ported 718 motors and it never performed right until he swapped to a RN Waterbox.

What about aTDR waterbox out of a sn. How will that perform?

Since the op is "upgrading" from a s/n to a r/n, - and assuming he's not just doing it for looks- be advised that there is a big performance gain, not because of the hull itself, but because the r/n uses a larger diameter exhaust. You would negate that by using a s/n flavored waterbox!
Further the affiant sayeth not.
