Some progress

Today is alignment day! I always start with the pump and follow my way to the engine and firewall. Nothing get epoxied till alignment is perfect with a little room to shim up.

Rizk also requested not to have scuppers in his build so the tunnel area will be blocked off

some progress on Rizk's build. Top deck has just been glued together. The next step is full carbon fiber re-inforcements inside the hull.

I am guessing on the final weight to be in the mid 70's.

It should be ready for some paint in the next two weeks:Banane09:

almost done!

Here is the hull completly carbon fiber re-inforced. This thing is "rock" solid and will with stand any punishements.

I will give a final weight when completed. Just have to install the footholds and finish the foaming process.

the exhaust tube is carbon.
Not sure of the distance between the bed palte and the motor , but I can tell you it's the same as OEM

not what I meant....

in the VERY first pic you put up you can see the bare weave and then the gelled black piece layed in on top...

does that match the curvature of the hull or is there a small space between?

beautiful work though...........its lighter than YZ's new all carbon wammer boat!

nevermind me, I guess it's just covered with the carbon, I can see it in an earlier pic.

Yes, the bed plate matches the curvature of the hull, although (as you can see in the pics) the 08 hulls are much wider and is a great match with my new re-designed WCF wider engine bay. the inside with measures 22 1/2 inches .

Wow, that's foamed. with footholds and everything? Interesting how you got it that light.

Yes sir! This is a full vacuum bagged kevlar/glass/carbon re-inforced hull. Even at this weight, I will "guarantee" that this hull will withstand any punishments given and withstand the test of time.
