Riding in Oceanside ? June 18,19,20

Anybody riding in O side....the mornings of June 18,19,20?? I am headed to Oceanside Ca. with a ski in the bed of the truck and to visit family. Hope to meet up with some peeps!!

Most of the Oside crew is planning on riding Point Loma on Saturday June 18th. Since you'll be coming into town why don't you join us? Pt Loma is only about 45 min south of Oceanside. You can ride Oside on Sunday and Monday, that way you'll get to ride both so Cal spots

Pt Loma has a launch ramp similar to Oceanside, however we have to ride SUPER early to lock in the spot (Meet there by 5:45 and in water by 6am) or the place gets over run with surfers. That plan may change but so far were still a go. PM me with your phone # and I'll keep you updated with texts. Either way we will either ride Pt Loma or here in Oceanside.

Looks like Pt Loma tomorrow (Saturday 18th) isn't going to happen. We've had pretty bad south winds the last few days that are making the morning conditions so bad that its not worth it. Forecasts are calling for the same tomorrow. I'm going to be at Oside harbor tomorrow at 7am just in case we get a break in the wind. Its a small gamble for me because I'm close but I wouldn't recommend anyone driving any distance to ride tomorrow, the weather just isn't cooperating.

That is the plan at this point. I hope to do pretty much what I did last year.
I have a friend thinking about taking his sailboat down to the Bahamas though and he asked if I wanted to go. That could potentially eat up all of my vacation time and then some. Probably a once in a lifetime thing though.

Hey, guys I am new here. I am actually picking up for first ski in years this week, and am new to california. I am in way way gonna be ready to do some of the things you guys are doing for awhile but would love to stay out of the way and check it out. Do you guys go out any particular times or just random meets. I dont know anyone else into the sport. Also what kind of laws are there in the area about riding in the surf and other areas since people surf and swim.

Riding in oceanside is great. I am totally new to the sport, just purchased my first ski a week ago. Everyone I have met that rides Oside is really helpful. Great group of people. Someone is there almost everyday at 7am. You really need to go out with someone to show you where we ride as there aren't any swimmer where we are. I am going to ride tomorrow am and friday am. The swell is up. pm me for my number if u want to ride.

I will definitly hit you up when I finally get out. Looks like I should get the ski tomorrow, but then there is several things I need to do before I take it out. It wont probobly be till at least the weekend before Im in the water.
