I am leaving out CF because I think they are done. I am leaving out couch mounts because I could not make them fit for my hull.

RRP's are new rubber mounts and I imagine the only people running them won't read this......but I put them in.

Just wondering who is flipping/rolling/slashing on what and which is lasting the longest and which are failing the worst. (1, 2, 3, 4 fail together?)

So far only my front mounts have failed on two different surf skis. (stock old oem mounts w/ keepers)

I use 6 oem mounts in my surf ski. I still tend to break them on occasion when i drill bottom. Usually its the right rear or left rear mount. Ive been replacing one at a time when this happens.

Been using the new rrp mounts in my flatwater ski since january. Lots of ride time on them. No signs of breaking one yet and ive been beating that ski up. Boat wakes, lots of flatwater learning. Hit bottom a few times. ‍♂️

Ive went through many(10+) sets of different mounts/couplers over the last few years. This current setup ive had the best results with. Also using thrust couplers in both skis.

GP800 OEM mounts I've found to last really well. Like you say, some hulls require the bottom skimming to allow them to fit but well worth the hassle IMO.

What hull do you have Matt? It's worth slotting the holes or maching the base plates a little to get oem mounts to work.

I want to bad! I tried and tried to get a set fit and gave up. My friend machined as much as we could off of them and still no go. WDK Envy with Yamaha power/pump...

I need to try again.

No one is making a 6 mount bed plate (yet) so I need a set to have modified......that is coming soon.

How much more was needed ?, could you machine the bottom of the bed plate ears ?

Dangit, No, I did not try that! I have full length motor mount strakes.

I am running 6 mounts first chance I get!
