This is from personal experience, some of you will surely have opinions that differ.
I've been "somewhat critical" of the D-cut mod in the past. And maybe I still am. But as a guy of considerable girth....lol..
I never had a problem keeping the nose up when I wanted it up, even though I was running a "longer than stock" worx dominator.
But now, after shortening the pole, my girth is a good bit more forward. It makes riding in surf a whole new experience (for the better).
NOW I can see how my plate is not just hurting me in air-tricks, but also carving waves.
It's keeping the nose down and I'm pearling on almost every wave.
I may not D-cut it, but I'm surely cutting that sucker to stock length.
The purpose of this thread is to give an example of how one mod may have an adverse affect on another mod.
