I just want everyone to know that I've given up admin-ing the board for the time being.

I'm not going anywhere, just demoted myself and have turned over everything related to the server to Kahuna/Jr./Michael950/whoever.

Sux to hear that Darin, you have done some great thing for this site and I for one am sorry to see you stop admining. For one the Webcam at Daytona was a hit. :bs2: that a few bad apples (idiots) can steer someone away like this.

It's a cumulative thing. One argument between 2 people may only affect them directly, but it affects us also, and when you add up all the little arguments, you get sick of it and it seems like some people don't care and/or think it doesn't matter.

It would be a different story if we made money off the site, but we don't take any money at all. There is currently over $1000 in the account that I was hoping to do t-shirts with and sell them to make more money for hosting, but I guess it will just go to hosting directly and cover 6 more months.

It's weird, I had a blast doing the April Fool's avatar joke, and 4 days later here I am.

LOL. Its probably gonna be a lot better knowing you don't HAVE to be logged in ALL day.

Things are gonna die down for the summer anyway I would think.

I think all forums go in cycles.

Summer=dead
Fall=carnage, stories and rebuild threads.
Winter=rebuild threads and political arguments.
Spring=Political arguments and talking shiite about going bigger.

i completely agree, once every one gets out riding every week it should simmer down quite a bit, i hope atleast

I think spring brings on kind of a cabin fever to the boards. I know Im frustrated right now. Two days ago it was 80f, not it's 60f. Freakin torture! Everyone gets irritable if they dont get laid for a long time, ridings basically the same.

(Yeah, yeah, I know some northerner is going to come back with complaints about their lake being frozen, but its killing me. I left my ski on the sea wall, only to put on a hoodie the next day to get it back on the trailer. :banghead: )
